He doesn't need to rush going back to castle life since there's no Bucky waiting for him this time. The disappointment of that as his memories start to realign would be enough to keep him in bed anyways.

Eventually when things start to make sense again, Steve starts writing down the appropriate information for reference. After that, comes the filters.
