[ This has been an announcement Lois hasn’t exactly been quick to want to broadcast, but to avoid an onslaught of inevitable questions now that so many people knew her and Clark had been playing parent so long... ]
So, Smallville and I have moved to the city, like we’ve been talking about. It’s a big place, plenty of room for anyone else who shows up from our world who might wind up without a place to go... Not that we’re limiting it to just... our worlders. That came out wrong.
Sorry. Sort of off my game. [ Deep breath now ] Chris is gone. Our Chris. Well not... our Chris but... Lois and Clark’s. The other... future us. [ Maybe she’ll let Clark have a whirl at this. ]
No, you’re right. Our Chris is gone. Regardless of timeline or universe or biological parents, he’s our kid.
But regardless... we have a place in the city, now. Anyone who needs a place to stay while in town is welcome. Just let us know, and we’ll roll out the welcome mat.
[ Lois collects herself now that the bad news is out there, and pipes back up. ]
Not literally, since, y’know, we don’t actually have a welcome mat. Yet. Which leads to my next point: housewarming party for anyone who wants to drop by this weekend. There will be pie.
