[Phoebe sounds BESIDE herself with excitement] I have an amazing announcement to make. [pause for dramatic effect] Peter proposed! We're getting married!

We haven't even started thinking about a date yet but I couldn't wait to tell everyone.

[Phoebe may have been married once before but that wedding had been... well... a little creepy once she actually stopped to think about it. So she was determined to actually have as close to her dream wedding as possible. The fact that her sisters couldn't be there left a hole in her heart but she knew that they would want her to be happy. Besides - there's always the chance that they'd come back in time for the wedding, wouldn't that be something?

It's such a beautiful day and she's in too good a mood to spend it inside so she's sitting outside in a lawn chair sipping iced tea and leafing through a bridal magazine she found in the library. (Besides, her new ring just looks so pretty in the sunlight)]

You know, there's been so much negative talk lately. Even if things aren't going so well thinking positively is always the first step to turning it all around. Everyone should think of one good thing that's going on in their lives right now. Even if it's small there's always at least one.

Thanks! It was so sweet. He took me to the seasons room for an anniversary date.

Did he? [Elektra laughs. Peter was her very first friend here. To say she's happy for him is the understatement of the century.]

I never knew he had it in him. How long have you been together?

He did. It was sweet. He brought a basket with wine and wouldn't let me help with anything because he'd hidden the ring in there. [She chuckles]

We've been together over a year, now. We met while we were all on the pirate ships.

Oh that. [It was pretty horrible for her. Subject change since she wants to stay happy for them.]

I have to say I'm proud of him. I hope you're both very happy together.

[Whoops. Didn't mean to hit a button there. Moving on.]

Wouldn't miss it. You should probably set that date sooner than later if you want my advice though.

[she pauses] You're right... as much as I hate to even think about that...

[And she will, too. Holding it conspicuously in her left hand so she can not so subtly show off the ring as she hands it to Elektra. What?]

[Elektra takes a good look at it before accepting the drink after her arrival. Oh she's impressed. Not by the size or beauty of it. It's just nice to see how far Peter has come.]

It's beautiful.

[She BEAMS at her friend]

Thank you! I was so surprised when he gave it to me. It's just so perfect.

[Elektra laughs gently.] I'm sure you were. It's really something.

Oh and now I have a wedding to plan! [she pauses] Though it's strange doing all this without my sisters.

I can't imagine. [She quickly adds.] I can help if you need it. I'm good with details.

You could? Oh thank you! That would be a great help, actually. [She grins] Would you like to help me pick out my dress?

Sure. I used to be good at things like that. Wouldn't hurt to see if I still have it.

Oh I'm sure you do. You don't lose something like that!

When would you like to go?

I'm free Tuesdays.

Fantastic! How about next Tuesday, then? We'll make a day of it.

Sure. I'll leave the whole day open for you.
