[Phoebe sounds BESIDE herself with excitement] I have an amazing announcement to make. [pause for dramatic effect] Peter proposed! We're getting married!

We haven't even started thinking about a date yet but I couldn't wait to tell everyone.

[Phoebe may have been married once before but that wedding had been... well... a little creepy once she actually stopped to think about it. So she was determined to actually have as close to her dream wedding as possible. The fact that her sisters couldn't be there left a hole in her heart but she knew that they would want her to be happy. Besides - there's always the chance that they'd come back in time for the wedding, wouldn't that be something?

It's such a beautiful day and she's in too good a mood to spend it inside so she's sitting outside in a lawn chair sipping iced tea and leafing through a bridal magazine she found in the library. (Besides, her new ring just looks so pretty in the sunlight)]

You know, there's been so much negative talk lately. Even if things aren't going so well thinking positively is always the first step to turning it all around. Everyone should think of one good thing that's going on in their lives right now. Even if it's small there's always at least one.

Were you here when we were all transported to those pirate ships?

Nope. That was before my time.

We were all on three ships. One that was more like a cruise ship that didn't have any issues whatsoever. One that was attacked by the Navy who thought we were pirates and one that ended up rescuing the few people who had been kidnapped by the Navy.

Peter and I were on the ship that was attacked. We were all on deck fighting the Navy and trying to keep everyone else safe. One of the Naval officers had a giant robotic wolf who was trying to destroy the mast. I managed to use magic to tangle its feet in rope. Needless to say it wasn't happy about that and decided to shoot at me. Peter jumped in the way and took a bullet for me.

[Dairine nods. She had read a little about the previous world changes in the journal, but it didn't cover everything.]

That sounds... [exciting? terrifying?] ...dramatic. Absolutely nothing like Paris or Unova.

No, it certainly wasn't. Thankfully I was able to bandage him up and, well, thinks went from there. I was wounded, myself, and he came to visit me in the clinic when we got back to the castle.

I think so, too. We're just so alike that it's amazing. We even share similar powers. Well... at least we used to.

Then again, it kind of makes sense. If Tom and Carol could have jobs outside their wizardry, why not Phoebe's fiancé?]

Oh no, he's not a wizard. He does have abilities but... There isn't exactly a name for it.

More like a telepath and an empath, among other things.

I'm surprised I haven't heard of him then. We telepaths tend to stand out, at least to each other.
