[Out in the city, Sansa's been both trying to see what jobs are about. As well as houses. It's something she did once before with Robb.]

I'm looking for lodging out in the town. I thought I should try here first. I care not for the castle nor do I trust it. I'd like there to be enough room for a few people. A hearth isn't needed, since I am told your winters here do not last like ours back home.

It is a harder thing to live it. To know your family dies off one by one.

Knowing what I do, I do not not want to waste a single moment here. If things are as you say, I have very little time left. I want to spend what time I can with you, my darling girl, before I lose the chance.

Things have already happened. You are already gone. I will return to a home where I have lost my mother, my father, my brothers, and my sister may be dead.

How? How can you expect to not be wary? You think I have forsaken my family as Arya does. I have done what I have because there is no choice; there is only survival and I cannot change the course of time. I cannot unmake what has happened.

That does not mean I love you less.

I try. I try to understand. I do. But how can you expect me to set aside all I feel? I can no more change the course of time than you. Everything I do, I do for you and your brothers and sister.

I have never pushed you. I-- do not let people in anymore. It is safer that way.

Then you have shut me out. [Pushed her away, shut her out- it feels the same to her.] I understand, but...it is difficult for me.

I am trying as well. If we move in, then perhaps things will be different.

We will try together. [And she will try to be patient.]
