Fun to be had

[The Master is wandering around the carnival grounds, feeling rather suspicious. He does not trust the castle to be purely kind and frankly? He's seen a few carnival-themes horror movies! He's going to be looking around and behind things with great care. However, he's not adverse to having fun and the food is good. He also has his journal on him and fastened open, so he can converse with everyone...and be alerted, if anyone starts to scream.]

Well, so far this seems almost innocuous.

Well, so far, the ferris wheel, nachos vendor, funnel cake vendor, and black jack table have failed to do anything untoward or unexpected. The carnival, so far, seems to be rather ordinary, if entertaining.

Does the castle really do stuff to people who are outside? That's never happened to me before.

You should ask one of the more experienced residents, but I think it can get us anywhere, yes.

No, I meant experienced as in having been at the castle longer and experienced more of the castle's trickery. I've never had it pull a prank on me, while outside, but it has taken me to alternate worlds. I don't think it's limited to inside the actual building.

I'll be very surprised, if you are wrong. I've been debating, if the castle is more likely to follow horror story cliches or try something unexpected.

Personally, my dear Mr. Henshaw, I would find being accosted by a demonic clown somewhat embarrassing.
