[Natsu's voice is loud and excited when he speaks into his journal, and the sounds that accompany him make it clear that he's at the Carnival]

Oi! Someone, anyone, come here!

[He's snickering, and anyone nearby will see him standing before the Strong Man game looking very confident in himself and swinging the hammer around]

There's this game here for testin' your strength. Someone come and play it with me! We can make it some sorta bet or somethin' if you want.

[ Lucy has no intention to test her strength with Natsu. That would be laughable. Unless she summoned Taurus or something. But she can hear Natsu calling out over his journal, and Lucy herself is wandering through the carnival with an amused grin. ]

Natsu, what are you doing? [ Hear that amused, fond exasperation? Your bestie knows this is a recipe for disaster. ]

[ Action! ]

[He turns and grins at her happily. This kind of game really is made for him, he's so going to win something okay]

Come on, Luce, play with me! [He jerks a thumb in the direction of the game]

[ She eyes the game a bit unsurely. ]

Don't you think you have a bit of an unfair advantage?

[ Well, if she were to take the challenge up herself. It might be close with Taurus, and she thoughtfully puts a hand to her hip where her keys are, hrmming. ]

[He scratches his head and keeps on grinning]

But you're strong too!

[An idea enters his mind though and he glances over at the prizes before pointing at them]

Ain't there something you want?

[ Lucy chuckles. ]

All right, all right - but you can't laugh at me. [ BECAUSE SHE KNOWS YOU WILL. Wait what? She blinks in surprise, then glances over the prizes thoughtfully. ]

Well... [ There is a really adorable seal plush that catches her eye, now that she mentions it. Look Natsu it's all cute and seal-like and fluffy! ]

You're going to win that for me? [ Gosh Lucy he's your best friend, why sound so surprised? ]

I won't! [He promises it but, yeah, you know him too well, Lucy. He might laugh a little]

If you want it, yeah! [Natsu stops himself from habitually raising his hand to touch the chain he wears. He wants to get her something since she's gotten him things before already]

Gonna be easy to do it.

[here's somebody wandering around the grounds and. Oh. It's you.

She doesn't look particularly impressed when she spies the game.]

Mn, yeah! That's me. [Grinning, and then he pauses.

[nodding at the game] So are you going to hit it or what?

[Score! Maybe it's because of how similar their names are but he usually doesn't remember names this easily]

You don't wanna go first? Might be lucky and give you more of a chance of winning!

[Percy arrives and gives the guy a wave of greeting]

Here you go. [Hopefully he has good reflexes, because that's all the warning he gets before Natsu tosses the rubber hammer over]

[Normally she might have ignored somebody just asking for a playmate, but that last bit caught her attention. As it is, Natsu now has one spunky redhead approaching him.]

A bet, huh? What kinda bet?

Ya said all that without even having an idea of what ya wanted to bet? [She shakes her head, but she can't be too annoyed. Coming up with a bet in a place like this is a bit difficult.] Fine. There's some coffee shops around here, right? So how about the loser buys the winner coffee? Ah, and some pastries, too.

[Shrugging with a sheepish smile] Mn, well I didn't know for sure that people would wanna bet!

Okay! Sounds good to me. [Immediate answer. Anything involving food is something he'll agree to]

That's a strength game?

Uh huh! You hit the bottom and this thing goes up depending on how strong you are. You gotta try and hit the... bell at the top!
