Good morning, Paradisa. I'd like to remind you all that we will be leaving for the expedition this morning. Please meet either down in the lobby or out in the courtyard. Doctor, if you could bring the TARDIS down to the courtyard to finish loading the supplies? I believe there are still stables inside for the mounts, aren't there?

We plan to set out as soon as everyone is gathered. I hope to see many of you joining us today.

[As for Raine herself, she'll be running back and forth between the two areas to help everything get into place. Her Quagsire and Ampharos are following her, Quagsire at a lumbering pace and often carrying large amount of supplies (thanks Strength), while Ampharos looks much more worried and is trailing along with the bulb on its tail flashing in agitation from time to time.]

[Clint Barton is present in the lobby, adjusting his backpack and gear. He's brought along his bow and quiver, absent of any trick shots that rely on technology to deploy.

He seems quite into his equipment check for the moment.]

[Jane's in the lobby, not quite as bright-eyed and bushy tailed as she'd like to be. She's strapping her spoon to her backpack so she has it at the ready if need be.]

[Allen isn't going, but he wanted to say goodbye to his friends before they left. Not to mention to send Timcanpy off, the golden golem that's currently perched on his hand, wearing a crystal necklace tied on his tail. Both of them are doing their best to put on a brave face at this goodbye]

Now you be good, okay Timcanpy? Don't eat people's rations and keep out of range of any creatures that might eat you, okay?

[Harry heads through the lobby to the courtyard. He scans his surroundings to see what other people are heading out on the expedition]

[So yeah Aradia showed up early and is moseying around in her trusty adventuring outfit. Her backpack sits off to the side while she goes around greeting ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE.

So yes, feel free to approach and/or be approached!]

[Always one for exploring, Hellboy pauses in the lobby to see if there are any familiar faces coming along. A lot of people have been leaving lately, so he's not quite sure how many expedition regulars are here today.]

[This sort of felt like a mission. Besides the mass of people she mostly didn't know and the fact that she was entirely out of armor. South Dakota's wearing simple, comfortable civies and a jacket, a pack with her supplies at her feet that she's still fussing with.]

[You know what would be perfect for getting her out of her funk and getting her back in to the world? An expedition.

Alleyne shows up in a brown mantle, hood down, her staff clenched hard in her right hand. There's a small bag slung over her shoulder and on her left hip, a backpack rolled tight with supplies on her back, with bola and a dagger attached to her belt.

Her tomato cap and battle bikini remain the same as always. Some things don't change. She's pulling some snacks out of a satchel on her belt. There's plenty to share, if you want some.

Her ears perk up a bit, listening in on everything. On her right shoulder is a small, pink monkey, sitting calmly.]

I could use a break from this place.

[Rue's looking around at everyone mingling. She bites her lip slightly and pulls her bag higher on her shoulder. She knows a couple of people who are going on this expedition but she's still a little nervous. She's never been out in the Dead Zone, before, after all.

So for now she's content just standing off to the side and watching everyone]

[she's standing around and looking for anyone who looks confused or like they might not be fully prepared to leave. she's also nibbling on a fresh strawberry! feel free to poke her or ask her for help ...]

[Venkman stretched his arms over his head and yawned lightly as he walked slowly into the lobby. His left leg was still dragging just a bit, but it wasn't anything that was hindering him at this point, so he was thankful that he was finally getting over his atrophy. Ray had mentioned this expedition, and even without the added reasoning of getting away from the castle for a little while, he found himself curious to see what this "Dead Zone" was all about. For now he was dressed in some casual clothing geared more towards hiking, and as he looked around for his friend, he couldn't help but feel more eager to get going than he'd ever been in the face of having to get out into nature]

[As usual, Lloyd is here and he's packed... but really really sleepy.]

[ James is wandering around the lobby, a small bag slung over his shoulder. He has no idea how much is actually needed on one of these castle expeditions, but he's getting the feeling he might be a little under packed. Or would be if he hadn't put a spell on his bag to make it a little bigger on the inside than the out. Too bad it's not going to work out there, not that he's aware of that fact. Here he is thinking he's all ready to go.

[Integra has a small pack that should have everything she needs in it, but is double checking in the lobby, just in case. The small blond girl is determined and ready to go, to learn a little as much as she can about this place.

Thankfully, there are some people her age or close to it coming as well, it seemed. A good thing since she was going no matter what.]

Where are they... [Searching her bag for those extra pair of glasses she had wished for, just in case, and though her hair is up in a ponytail, Integra still hasn't lost the skirt. Pants? Pfft.]

Courtyard

[The courtyard is full of all kinds of mounts, from the more traditional horses to stranger creatures from other worlds like chocobos and a mongoose-dragon. Raine has asked a stablemaster from the city to attend as well, and he has a broad variety of mounts to rent for those who didn't pick one out from the castle stables. Supplies are being loaded onto wagons and from there driven into the TARDIS in preparation for the jump.]

[Zuko hadn't spoken up about joining the expedition, hadn't really let a single soul know that he was even interested in going with. ...Probably because he hadn't been interested until extremely recently. It was a last-minute decision all around, so he's looking a little lost when he shows up outside.

Bags are packed, slung over his shoulder, and he's looking around for that mongoose-dragon. He's hoping it hasn't already been claimed by someone else, but... beggars can't be choosers when showing up without any announcement.]

[ And this is where Arya sneaks into the wagon Once-ler made. It took a bit of finagling to get Nymeria to follow her on, but she achieves it—and without anyone noticing. Her dancing master would be proud.

Once inside, she makes Nymeria lie down in the small space beneath a slanted board. Arya squeezes in and rolls a squat barrel in front of them to hide them.

With such little space available, Arya lies half-beside and half-draped on top of the direwolf. It soon becomes uncomfortably warm. Arya puts up with it without complaint; Nymeria whines low in her throat. Arya strokes her fur soothingly.

Betting pool on how long it will take the direwolf to dive out and possibly give Once-ler a heart attack opens now. ]

[post-kidnapping, of course, Five has the TARDIS parked on the lawn, ready for loading and boarding. he's standing cheerfully by the door, looking perfectly happy to greet anyone who might come by.... But really, he's there to keep a certain hermit in]

[Sheena's already got her supplies--as well as some extra provisions from the kitchen for the trip and is now looking at the animals they can ride. She's looking at the horses curiously. Whatever they are, they're beautiful.]

What are these? And how do I get on one?

[Conan is leaning against the castle wall and watching all the chaos skeptically. He already had a bad feeling about this trip.]

[Always one to take things seriously, Durge is in the courtyard making last minute checks to the saddlebags currently strapped to his large sooty-gray horse. The charger seems to take the burden in stride - this wasn't the first long journey he'd been on. Durge himself is wearing his heavy chainmail and his large greatsword is slung on back. He'd be ready for anything. He was, however, less sure about everyone else.]

[Danny is eyeing the nearest horse with extreme doubt.]

Are we sure these things are safe?

[Once Colette found a job that she could help with, she threw herself into it. And in this case, that task is putting supplies into the wagon! However, people who are watching her work might notice something funny... she seems to be lifting huge bundles of supplies at once, much more than anyone her size should be lifting. How weird...

Meanwhile, she's just happily humming to herself as she works. You should come bug her]
