So, the Once-ler was in his bed, sleeping like a log. Boy Ino is the last person he wants to see in his bunny pyjamas, but such is life. The LOUD NOISES are enough to rouse him at least into a half- doze. After all, once you've woken up with your bed in a river your sleeping brain tends to be suspicious of weird noises]
