[Amaterasu is on one of the highest parts of the castle, looking at the horizon and keeping an eye on things. Or she will until she gets sleepy. The journal open next to her.]

What usually happens in the castle when there is an expedition?

[between flying and teleportation, traveling to the edge of the Dead Zone is easy enough. Losing powers, however, is kinda scary.]

That is at odds with what I have heard about previous expeditions.

Others have assured me most of them have been very peaceful.

It tranquilizes me that no one went for the bad stuff, if there was any. If anything I've heard the castle has been attacked by prior residents while most were out on an expedition.

[mm. There's a luxurious stretch, wings unfurling to their fullest extent before they settle back along her sides.]

'Tis the best material to sleep on, I have found. Little can compare - [a grin] except for perhaps using one's sister as a pillow.
