[Amaterasu is on one of the highest parts of the castle, looking at the horizon and keeping an eye on things. Or she will until she gets sleepy. The journal open next to her.]

What usually happens in the castle when there is an expedition?

[Oh! That's what she wanted!? She could have said that beforehand! Ammy barks at her, she wouldn't want the girl to put herself in danger after all! So she jumps where she is.

That was pretty high!]

[stumbles backwards a few steps in surprise, then hurries close to pat Ammy on the head, both in greeting and to see if the impact hurt her any]

... Or we could do that, yeah.

[Ammy licks that hand in greeting, clueless that she's being taken care of.]

[Ammy why are you so precious. Have a scritch behind the ears, too, once she's fairly sure nothing looks damaged]

[She'll let out a relaxed sound at that.]

Been a while, huh. How's it going with you?

[Keep with the scritch and she's going to fall asleep...]

[sheesh, you're even worse than the mutt she used to have. Shaking her head with a small, amused sort of noise, she'll drop into a half-sitting-half-crouching position so that they're on eye level]

[She's so good to her! When she crouches to her level, Ammy gives her a little lick on her cheek.]

wait, what did she come here for again?] You never told me why you got so high up!

[A++, Sayaka]

[Oh, right... Huh! She gets away from Sayaka and goes to the edge of the roof, leaning her frontal legs on the parapet, and looks all around then back at Sayaka. She's keeping watch! ... Also she's bad at sign communication.]

[there's another noticeable pause as she watches, trying to DECIPHER THIS MYSTERY]

You're...looking for something...?

[Not exactly what she had in mind, but it isn't entirely wrong either! She barks and wags her tail, yeah, sort of.]

[doesn't know what she's supposed to find, but she stands at the edge as well, looking out the way Ammy did in an attempt to spot something of note.

Nice view aside, there doesn't seem to be anything other than bird droppings...IS THIS A TRIAL OF SOME KIND...]

[Look at all that people down there? Gathering to leave to the expedition? Yep that's it.]

[Turns to look at her momentarily, with a little nod. And somehow she wants to ask her now why isn't she down there--she's young! She should have some adventures.]

[eh, Ammy's the one carrying a journal on herself! She remains oblivious to the thought.

Besides, weird stuff always seems to happen on expeditions]

Wonder what they'll find out there this time.

[The journal makes everything boring... Isn't it more exciting to find out what she's up to? ...

She tilts her head and lets out a sigh. Not sure, but she hopes they will be alright.]
