Tenth birdsong (Expedition post)

[Anyone on the expedition may or may not notice something has gone missing. Didn't you just put that down and turn away for an instant? It's gone, now. Why? Rue's feeling mischievous and watching people looking for their missing things from her vantage point in the nearest tree is just funny.

Innocent as can be, she swings her feet a little, bouncing Timcanpy on her knee and singing softly to him. Timcanpy was slowly learning the songs she'd been singing and starts singing along with her, mimicking her voice. She giggles and pets the little guy]

You'll have lots of stuff to show Allen when we get home, won't you?

she scurries over to her bag, looking for the dagger that she packed on top. not to actually do anything, just to wave it around for the lulz...

buuut it's not there, and her laughter abruptly dies off.]

Where is it? Don't tell me I forgot... [Looks over her shoulder at him] You haven't seen my dagger, have you?

It's got an obsidian blade. Oh my gosh, I know I packed it!
