Tenth birdsong (Expedition post)

[Anyone on the expedition may or may not notice something has gone missing. Didn't you just put that down and turn away for an instant? It's gone, now. Why? Rue's feeling mischievous and watching people looking for their missing things from her vantage point in the nearest tree is just funny.

Innocent as can be, she swings her feet a little, bouncing Timcanpy on her knee and singing softly to him. Timcanpy was slowly learning the songs she'd been singing and starts singing along with her, mimicking her voice. She giggles and pets the little guy]

You'll have lots of stuff to show Allen when we get home, won't you?

[Digs into his pockets before he pulls out a purple ribbon, holding it back for her. WHAT?]

You do know purple and pink don't really match, right? [She takes the ribbon anyway, though.]

I know, I know. But some sacrifices have to be made when you're roughing it in the wilderness.

Well, why didn't you just bring a pink one in the first place. [And she ties it into a bow, just for you, Zelos.]

Caaauuse not all the clothes I brought are pink? [Aw granny you're the best]
