[Gren wasn't precisely lonely, but it occurred to him rather suddenly that he'd not been out much, outside of work or his occasional attempts at spending time with Vicious. And while he didn't mind it so much, it was a different sort of social experience, prone as Vicious was to brooding silence.
He'd never forgotten the help Connor and Murphy had been to him, when he'd decided to distance himself from the castle proper, and today seemed like as good as any to pay his respects.
So, armed with a case of locally brewed beer, he walked into the church to look for them.
The silence that greeted him was unnatural and heavy.
Connor? Murph? Guys?
He looked everywhere, but found sign of them. Where they just out or working elsewhere? It didn't seem right. There was always someone...
The door to a cellar. Strange. He'd never been down there. Curiously he crept downstairs and then...stopped.
Whoa.
That...changed a lot. No - back upstairs now - time to sort this out. He takes a seat on a pew and pulls out his journal]
...I'm not completely sure, but it looks like the MacManus' have all gone home. The church in town is deserted. I'm not sure where their rooms in the castle were, otherwise I would check.

I found what they have down here. Mind telling me what they were up to?
Look, I don't want to step on toes, if any of this belongs to any of you. I think it's fair that I give you a chance to claim it.
Or leave it here. I'm weapons trained. I can look after it all.
