「✿十」the one with the chocolate
[Oh dear... Oh dear Mother of the Sun... She should have listened to Rin and she shouldn't have let Chell feed her with chocolate some days ago because it was delicious... Amaterasu couldn't resist the temptation of eating a bit more after seeing that it didn't affect her (or thinking it didn't) but, piece by piece of the delicious thing, she realized the problem resided in the quantity...
Chocolate was indeed bad for her, not as bad as it would be in any normal wolf! No! But her wolfish shape wasn't only a disguise of sorts! Things like this would affect her as the wolf she is at the end of the day.
Thankfully for her, her Godhood helped so it wouldn't get too bad. Her belly hurt, she felt tired and nauseous, but she was fine... Chocolate, why are you so cruel to canines?
For the first time since people had left to the expedition, she stayed inside instead of keeping watch, resting under the dinning room table, well hidden from curious stares by the long tablecloth.
Well, she could take this time to use the journal since the slight pain and discomfort wasn't quite letting her nap. And she writes:]
Any tips to get over an ugly stomachache?
[ Once-ler ]
How's the hermit thing going? [Poor thing, she has no idea.]
---
[ Chell ]
Hi! How are you doing today? [It's probably time for a better introduction.]
---
[ Galadriel ]
Did you know there is someone that sounds just like you!? [All the gossip...]

She writes down, and her "handwritting" looks as if she was using some kind of brush, the letters come a little messy and splotchy at times.]
My name is Amaterasu, we met the other day. Do you remember the cake?
And, don't worry about it, hopefully the stomachache will go away soon.
no subject
OH! That was you! I did not know you could write? That is wonderful. I hope my cake didn't give you a stomache ache?
[Aww. She hoped she'd not made her new friend ill.]

Where are you?
[Yep. If Chell finds Ammy there will be pets and ear scritches in her future. Maybe a snuggle. Maybe more of Chell's amusing doodles to help her feel better.]

So, how did you get this stomach ache?

She reads the question in her journal and writes back, though Chell might not be able to see how she does it as she doesn't seem to be moving at all (except maybe her tail a bit). The words appear "magically":]
I ate too much chocolate.

Chocolate is very good...But it gives you stomach aches? I wonder if it would give me one too. Hmm. I should try not to eat too much then.
[And now for the question.]
How are you writing without moving? Are you writing with your tail? That's amazing.
[And she floofled the fur on Ammy's head affectionately.]
no subject
[Oh, she caught on that? She's very observant.]
Yes, yes I am! It's something I can do since not most people understand wolf.

I like your writing. It is very pretty. Not like mine, I am sure. I used to write better, I think, but then there was Aperture.
[She breaks off, trying to remember if she'd written better once. But she can't.]
But at least I CAN write.
[Ammy's just as awesome to talk to as she is to pet.]

[Notices that pause...]
What is Aperture?
no subject
How do you not run out of ink? You have a magic tail?
[Despite living in Aperture for much of her life, Chell still believes in magic, just a little. Which would probably annoy the heck out of any Aperture staff, if any had been present. On Ammy's question about Aperture, she frowns slightly for just a minute. Not so much a sad frown, but the sort of frown as if she was trying to find words.]
Aperture Science. It's an enrichment center. I was a test subject. So I had to complete tests, like making portals out over long distances, not touching the floor in some places because of the dying that would happen if I did, had to survive incineration. Just testing. Nothing else.
[She's talking about all these hairy ways to die like it's ... normal. Like everyone in the world goes through things that will result in their death if one thing is done wrong, and as if everyone knows what portals are. And then she thinks for a minute.]
What sort of place do you come from? What is your home like? What's it called? I bet it was a pretty place.
no subject
Ammy can't understand a few of the words Chell uses, but she rather read the whole story first before asking. And what he reads, she doesn't like it at all. She looks up at Chell for a moment, looking for any upset sign from her part, finding it weird that she indeed takes it so calmly.
It takes her a moment too, when she's asked about her home, mostly thinking if she should ask more about Chell's. But she'll let it pass for the moment, maybe Chell doesn't want to talk about it.]
I come from a place named Nippon. In fact I come from a place above Nippon, the Celestial Plane. But I haven't been there in a while though, so there isn't much I remember about it. Instead, I had been hanging around Nippon before I came here.
It's a place of beautiful lands, almost as pretty as Paradisa's, but the weather changes a lot, sometimes it rains, sometimes there is wind. Not always perfect as it is here, but that's part of its beauty.
I think you'd like it.
no subject
Rain... I think I remember it. It is wet and falls from the sky. And Nipon sounds amazing. I would like to visit there someday.
And if... if you have any questions about where I am from, just ask? I realize not everyone comes from the same place. And that is kind of what makes people unique.
[Chell is slowly starting to realize that not all these people have lived the same life she has. And she's willing to explain, if Ammy asks her.]
no subject
[A beat.]
Alright, I'll bite. What were those test for? Were you ever hurt?
no subject
I was testing a device that would allow one to move over large areas, from point a to point B in the blink of an eye. And yes. I was hurt plenty of times. There were turrets [She sketches one] , pits of acid, neurtoxin, pits without acid, material emancipation grills which could vaporize things. And a cube that was my only friend until the person administering the tests made me incinerate it to continue the test.]
sorry about the slow darling, i'm sitll on hiatus but trying to catch up
A cube? [Cubone? No wait, that was a pokémon...]
Re: sorry about the slow darling, i'm sitll on hiatus but trying to catch up
It is much better here
[She writes, drawing a smiley face.]
no subject
It looks nice.
I hope you don't return to that place though.
