Been traveling for a while. The canals are quiet. Got attacked by giant birds. Unfortunately, did not have Dean Martin CDs to drive them away.

Did not die.

Doesn't sound like "a bit" if it left you bedridden.

It's mostly a headache, and everyone insisting I get sleep.

Believe me, I have suffered a lot worse than this. At least this bed is better than anything I had on the road.

Because it's a horrible sound and they'd run away from it.

Kinda a weird tactic, I know, but if it works then why not?

How did you guys manage that?

Some people fought them with bats and stuff.
