It'll be two years today. It's hard to believe I've been here that long.

[he runs his fingers over his new journal. Many blank pages waiting to be filled and new memories to make]

Thanks. So, I'm guessing you're newer to Paradisa.

I wonder when I may finally answer "no" to that question.

I'll ask again if you're still here in a few months.

[ She laughs. ] Then, I dearly accept the second chance.

What's your name? Mine's Peter Petrelli. [very Italian name, no?]

[ She chuckles some more, pronouncing his name with the "correct" pronunciation. ] Petrelli. Peter. My name is Lucrezia Borgia.

I should call you... Pietro.

Lucrezia..? [why does that name sound familiar? hrm] Nice to meet you.

Um. Peter's fine, really.

Peter it is then. [ Though he is Pietro in her mind still. ]

And how long have you been here, Peter Petrelli?

Two years, though sometimes it feels like longer.

Oh--and that was the start of our conversation. I beg your pardon, my mind escapes me, sometimes.

[chuckle] It's okay. I need to remind myself how long it's been sometimes.

Would you say Paradisa is a suitable name for this castle?

For some people it is. Personally, I've found both good and bad things about this place.

What are they, if I may ask?

Good thing: I've met people here I now consider family. Bad thing: it can make good people do terrible things.

The latter--is that not also true elsewhere? At least, in Rome.

...Yeah. Good people can do bad things anywhere. The difference in Paradisa is that you're under magical control.
