[Pinkie had received a special gift from the castle at Christmas - unfortunately, said gift had spent most of the last month under her bed, being too shy to come into the castle populace at large.

In order to try and remedy this and show Gummy that there was no need for fear, Pinkie had (logically...) decided to dress herself in an alligator costume as encouragement. Anyone walking through the lobby today would see the peculiar sight of a small pink pony dressed in a green costume, with a small (and slightly dopey looking) baby alligator stood by her side.]

See, Gummy? The lobby is a super fun place for alligators to alligate!

[Gummy blinks at the dog unconcernedly, as Pinkie rushes over and pries his eyelids apart with her hooves.]

Hellooooo?

[Not to worry, Pinkie. He's made of stern stuff. Even if he doesn't look it. He blinks at her. And all he makes out is the fuzzy outline of a crocodile with a pink splotch caught in its maw.]

AAAAAAH!

[This is Courage. Fainting again.]

[She just giggles, figuring he was joking about, sitting next to him and nudging him with a hoof.]

[It'll take him a bit longer to wake up. But he eventually does. He cradles his head in his paws, rubbing at his eyes. When he finally blinks at Pinkie Pie again, he realizes it's just a costume.]

Hi there!

I'm Pinkie Pie and this is Gummy, we're being alligators today!

[Like Gummy isn't usually an alligator, whatever.]

[cowardlydog]

Uh...huh.

[O....kay. Courage points to himself and blabbers an introduction whose only intelligible word is "Courage."]

Courage! Wow, you must be super brave to have a name like that.

[cowardlydog]

[Sure! Disregard the fainting thing earlier. Courage laughs in embarrassment, ducking his head.]

Look Gummy, you can learn courage from Courage!

[cowardlydog]

Nooo.

[Courage laughs in embarrassment, ducking his head. Then he looks at Gummy and stops laughing. Er. It's not going to try eating them, right?]

[elementoflol]

[No!

Except... he does. Gummy suddenly latches onto Courage's leg, lucky he's got no teeth at all!]

[cowardlydog]

[ Courage is still gonna scream.

And keep screaming.

Until he realizes the no teeth thing.

At which point his scream tapers off into a confused whine. ]

[Gummy just drops off back to the floor, blinking vacantly.]

He laughs nervously and waves a paw at Gummy. Hi? By the way, don't mind him as he slowly creeps behind Pinkie Pie and away from Gummy. ]
