[Pinkie had received a special gift from the castle at Christmas - unfortunately, said gift had spent most of the last month under her bed, being too shy to come into the castle populace at large.

In order to try and remedy this and show Gummy that there was no need for fear, Pinkie had (logically...) decided to dress herself in an alligator costume as encouragement. Anyone walking through the lobby today would see the peculiar sight of a small pink pony dressed in a green costume, with a small (and slightly dopey looking) baby alligator stood by her side.]

See, Gummy? The lobby is a super fun place for alligators to alligate!

[To Spike:] Don't worry. We'll pump her stomach out, put her on an IV, she'll be fine by morning.

[And going over to kneel by the pony, trying to figure out how to carry her] Overdose on what?

Pump her stomach? [That sounds dangerous, but he trusts these guys because he's a tiny little idiot.

Still, he'll hang around, not leaving her side, grabbing his tail in his claws and twisting it worriedly]

Something about special human vitamins.

[That cause you to overdose if you take too many. A flat look at House before he's moving to pick her up. It's kinda awkward since she's a horse, but the weight isn't a problem]

[Good job, House, good job! He nudges Allen's legs, trying to get him to move forward now he has Pinkie in his arms]

[He sees that look. And you're not getting an explanation yet. House gets up, using his cane to help him.]

I think the little purple dragon wants you to move.

[pulling away from the nudging!] -- Stop that please, you'll make me trip.

[And drop your friend and that will make our jobs harder. But he's on his way to quickly heading to the stairs since honestly- it could take forever to wait for an elevator and it's one floor]

[Spike follows, every so often doubling back to see how House is getting on. Man why are you humans so SLOW? Haven't you heard of galloping?]

I'm gonna have to warn the others too, oh man this is so bad.

[House is heading for the elevator. He might need the clinic if he's made to walk up stairs. While he walks, he yells at Allen to have the oral-activated charcoal, gastric lavage kit and antibiotics out.]

[I'm slow because I'm carrying a frigging pony. You try carry a frigging pony! But he's doing his best to make haste, and he's at the clinic shortly, running into to set her on the closest operating table and heading to get the stuff House ordered; talking over his shoulder to Spike as he does his run around]

Please wait in the waiting room, okay? We'll let you know once she's stable.

[Waiting room? The place where you have to WAIT? Spike takes a few heavy breaths, before reluctantly going to the waiting room

[Pace all you want, li'l buddy. House soon show up and passes Spike without a word. Behind these doors is an area for professionals and patients only. And Allen.

[Well that was one magical timeskip. Yaaay. He sighs tiredly as he switches gloves that haven't been through...pumping pony stomach]

[He heads over and pokes his head out of the waiting room door, looking for Spike]

[At least Spike's getting pretty used to being referred to by his species from living here. He looks up, his widdle face FULL OF WORRY]

Is she gonna be okay?

[he steps fully into the room and smiles down at the little guy]

Mm. She'll need to rest tonight so we'll be keeping her here for observation, but she'll be just fine.

When can we see her? I know the other ponies will be real worried about her.

She needs rest for right now, but I'm sure she'll be happy to see you in the morning.

[Oh who said he's letting off House easy?]

But before you go, there's something I wish to say. [He pulls out a prescription bottle of pills out from his pocket] Do you know what these are?

[Don't think House isn't listening in. He's not above clocking you with the door "accidentally."]

[Spike leans up to look at them, before shaking his head]

Nuh uh. Is it some kind of human medicine?

Mm, that's right.

They're pills that are meant to help people when they're ill, but they are very strong so you never want to take more than what's directed to you by a doctor and you certainly don't want to take medicine that is meant for someone else.

Your friend didn't know this and she choose to eat an entire bottle of strong painkillers. She got off very lucky, but if it happens again there's no telling if that luck will hit twice.

So it's very important that she or yourself don't do this again. Do you understand?

But...the old guys said they were vitamins. Why would he lie? I mean, he looks like he knows what he's talking about...

[A scoff] Trust me, I'm not stupid. I don't take anything that's not naturally in the wild.

Probably because we were in the middle of an emergency and vitamins seemed easier to explain. [he shrugs at the lie. The last thing we need is the kid convinced the doctors are out to kill them]
