So I'm back from the expedition.

[Conan yawns as he climbs up onto a chair in the kitchen and pours some milk over his cereal.]

Did anything happen in the castle while we were gone?

[A somewhat familiar face wanders into the kitchen looking tired and disheveled. He yawns broadly and waves at the kid]

Any idea where they keep the coffee pot around here?

Cabinet on the right. Second shelf.

[His reply is absent-minded.]

And not a whole lot happened.

Some interesting things happened. [There may be some smugness in his voice. Despite the attacks, he had managed to gather some interesting information. And thoroughly annoy his rival.]

Hey, thanks. [He smiles at the kid and moves in that direction, opening the correct cabinet]

[He watches quietly. Was this guy going to make extra coffee?]

Why?

[He yawns again as he sets up the coffee pot with some strong coffee. When it starts brewing he looks over]

How's it goin'?

I guess you could say that I'm pleased with some recent events.
