[After a few hours, Martel has realized she's one, trapped in the lobby, and two, her wings have appeared and won't retract. So she's stuck with sitting in the lobby on the couch, with her pink mana wings. Obviously this is a loss, and obviously someone is going to walk by and notice. So she'll deal with it as it comes up. But, she's also hungry, and can't even get out of the lobby to the kitchen.]

Ah, could anyone bring me some food? I seem to be on a loss, and I'm stuck in the lobby.

It is no trouble, you will become used to working around the castle's little foibles soon.

I'm sure I will. This is the first loss I've had, either times I've been here. It's not harmful, just annoying. [At least the couches are comfy.]

I am. I realize it could have been much worse. [The Castle could have done so many other things to her.]

Tell me, how have you been settling in?

Fine. I've been coming into the clinic lately, and I've actually been making lots of new friends. [It's not very hard for her, she'll talk to anyone.]

Friends from new places are one of the blessings of this world, and one we should never squander.

[heal_theworld]

I won't. It's better here, than in my world. Humans would refuse to talk to me because of my race. And here, they don't even care.

[guiding]

Here, there are too many races for any segregation, it is one of the wonderful things.

I know. It's easier, here, to be who I am. To not be looked down upon because of my blood. I even met an elf who was glad to talk to me, when the elves in my world banished me from their village.

Then you should savour every moment here as a blessing.
