Second Legend
At least this change in the weather will be done with us residing under a roof. [That's said rather casually.]
But that is not my concern for those of you here, no. My concern for today is one of residence. While the castle is a gracious host, and I would assume homes in the town, is there any place outside of those that one could stay in? One perhaps in the woods or near it. It doesn't have to be large, just large enough for one man.
[That done, he sets the journal down near him before returning to his scribbling on a paper in the lobby, a chair dragged over to a corner of it where he has covered part of the wall in symbols, the same of which can be found on papers piled around him. Periodically he glances over at the journal before returning to whatever it is that he's doing.]

A gracious host, indeed. [ She reaches up to trace one of the symbols. ] Yet you are dissatisfied by it's offerings.

I'm not accustomed to staying in one place not of my choosing for very long.

On that, I cannot fault you. [ She tilts her head, looking at his hand. More so the symbols. ] There are many who feels as you do.

Vworrrrrrrrrp.
[and not far after him, running down the steps, is one (1) celery-wearing Doctor, eyes wide] Tardy, NO! No, no no, that does NOT belong to you, drop it straight off. ... I'm terribly sorry --
[he promptly deposits his hat on the bird, which makes it drop the papers with an irritated 'wehk'] Yes, well. It's not for you. [sigh.]
