[There's a scuffling noise, as if someone's trying to keep hold of the journal while fiddling around with something else.]

My goodness. Someone needs to be told it's rather rude to nail their invitations to a person's door. I nearly thought the king had managed to track me all the way here.

[There's a pause an a bit of a laugh]

I'll have to work on my royalty-evasion, it seems. I don't suppose anyone knows something about our gracious host? Or whether this will end up being an elaborate trap?

[Howl's not usually the paranoid type, but you can never be too careful when it comes to kings.]

I never received an invitation. Uhh...but I'm not even sure yet whether that's a bad thing, even.

That's just it, though. It could be anyone. It could be the castle itself for all we know, although if that's the case, I doubt it would have forgotten about me. I'm pretty memorable, after all. <3

Hmmm. That is strange. I suppose you could always simply show up anyway? Or find someone to take you. I can't imagine they'd protest someone bringing a guest.
