[There's a scuffling noise, as if someone's trying to keep hold of the journal while fiddling around with something else.]

My goodness. Someone needs to be told it's rather rude to nail their invitations to a person's door. I nearly thought the king had managed to track me all the way here.

[There's a pause an a bit of a laugh]

I'll have to work on my royalty-evasion, it seems. I don't suppose anyone knows something about our gracious host? Or whether this will end up being an elaborate trap?

[Howl's not usually the paranoid type, but you can never be too careful when it comes to kings.]

I wonder if the castle is encouraging these fairies, with the carnival and the Lux's makeover before that.

All I can do is speculate, but perhaps they're suggestions that we should make use of the opportunities we have to better acquaint ourselves with each other.

Hmmm. Interesting. It did try to make us all one big happy family, so that doesn't seem terribly far fetched.

Like a child matching its dolls up with each other, in a sense. Nothing wrong with meeting new people, of course, just that... [viewing this through the lens of "the castle going HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE" is kinda creepy]
