So I usually bomb with these dances, but... hey, might as well give it another try, right? Looks like it's gonna be quite the party.

I don't remember much about fairies from mythology but they're pretty cool to watch.

Well I can tell you this much, the ones here are a bit atypical.

Smallish? Pretty enough. They make for excellent decorations.

You use living fairies in decorations?

They generally don't seem to mind much.

Yeah, you know. Tiny little human-looking things with wings.

They're totally harmless, you know. I helped one of them pick up something in the kitchen and it really seemed happy.

Really? [ A pause. ] They're not the fairies from Christmas?

You've actually caught sight of one of them? I thought I Heard one at the door but when I got there all there was was the invitation. [ And lots of giggling. ]

I'm actually kind of looking forward to the party, myself. I haven't been to a ball for fun in ages, it seems.

I've mever been to a masquerade. Might be fun.
