20th Perscription ~ [Dictated/Action]
[The autumn day finds one Dr. Carson Beckett in the city, his journal open, as he browses the shops, looking into the clothes stores and the like. Seems someone is browsing for something to wear to some party or something. Wonder what it is...
He throws up a few filters as he browses.]
[Town Clinic Filter]
I think I've found us a wee place. Would need a little bit of fixing up, but I reckon it shouldn't take too long. The sooner we can get to work the better. A bald head is soon shaved!
---
[Todd]
I'm so sorry, I completely forgot that you wanted me to come and give you a check-up. [And he actually does sound sorry.] How are you holding out? Do you still want me to come take a wee look?
---
[Jennifer and Conan]
When you're ready, I think we can start work on trying to fix Conan's wee virus problem. And I think you two need to meet, if you haven't already.
---
[The next is spoken unfiltered, his voice is rather happy as he walks around town.]
I think a wee masquerade ball is a marvelous idea. It's a good way to celebrate the turn of the season. Does anyone know of any good shops in the city that'll help me with a wee design? I'd rather not wish something like this up. It would mean more if it was specially made, aye?
((OOC: Unfiltered section is open. Feel free to bump into him wandering around.))

Where are you?
no subject
Are you posting a log or...?
We'll just slip into actiontags if that's okay.
ok
Doctor Beckett? [He calls, looking around the place.]
Sorry! I meant the clinic in the castle! My bad!
Take a seat, I'll be with you in just a wee tick.
ok

A few minutes later, Carson walks back into the room, stripping off his gloves.]
Ah, sorry for making you wait. I had to finish something.

Understandable, doctor. [He replies, throwing another glance at the pink animal before turning his focus back to Beckett] Shall we begin then?

Don't worry about Blissey. She's harmless.
[He takes his Medical scanner out from his pocket.]
Yes, lets. Hold still, and I'll start the scans.

[Todd asked, assuming the strange creature was from Beckett's world.
He stayed put, right arm held out a bit from his side]

[He starts running scans, pausing to make notes in his notebook.]
She's a Pokémon. The castle took us to a land called Unova a few months ago, and Blissey came back with me.
no subject
Poke-man? [If he had eyebrows, one would be cocked at the absurd name.]

[Carson frowns at the scans, but makes notes, nonetheless.]
It seems as though the castle has completely rewired your biology. I don't know what Dr. Keller's vaccine would have done, but #I don't think it would have removed organs.
no subject
Just removing the organs would not suppress the need to feed upon humans. We've...experimented on our own kind in the past.
So, this place must have, as you said, rewired everything from the ground up. A bit unsettling that it can do such a thing, but at least I won't be starving that way in my time here.
[Nor was anyone going to take his enzyme sac, of which a certain other doctor had been interested in when the wraith elaborated upon his kin.]

[Why would this place do anything remotely like that really]
