[He doesn't sound his usual, cheerful self. There's a crunching noise over the journal as he pulls leaves from his hair. Sleeping on the lawn was not something he'd like to repeat]

That will teach me to drink anything a fairy offers me. I'm off in search of the world's largest aspirin.

[And there he goes, picking his way across the lawn and muttering strange curses under his breath, apparently directed at the sun.]

I think they were rather nice, so long as you didn't go swatting at them. A bit surprising, but I won't complain.

Abducted by a magic castle, and all I've managed to do is trade one nosy busybody for another. My life truly is a horror.
