[Nora's sitting in her normal post at the front desk in the gallery. She has her arms crossed over her sketchbook and rests her chin on her arms, gazing out the door at the people walking by]

Tell me, Paradisans - what's your favorite color?

[she pauses]

And before anyone starts - I'm bored, so sue me.

[She writes as responses filter in... wow she really didn't expect so many people to respond to such a simple question. But hey, why not right?]

[A scrawling message appears in Nora's journal. Someone's happy to hear from her.]

Nora! I like blue. Like the sky when it is not raining. How about you? What is your favorite color?

[Chell makes a small blue smudge of the exact shade of blue below her message so Nora can see the exact shade she means.]

[She grins. She knows that handwriting very well by now]

Hey, Chell! That's a beautiful color. [And that fact is definitely stored for future reference]

Mine's red [She swipes a red marker across the page] I have to be careful, though... my loss is that I can't touch red paper without it crumbling.

[silentrunning]

[Chell writes back, but not before she adds a blue slash to match the red one. It doesn't look bad like that.]

That is an interesting loss. And it sounds frustrating. Is it?

Mine is that I can't jump. Which was something that was necessary. I mean, I can say the word. I know the concept. But if I crouch to jump, whatever I was going to do leaves my mind. I found that out when Mark gave me a large roll of bubble wrap. I tried to ump on the roll and couldn't.

It can be... I've had to get used to not using any kind of red paper at all.

You can't jump? I've never heard of anything like that before. That's so weird.

This castle is a very odd place. I miss being able to jump. But then, I would suppose you definitely miss red paper if red is your favourite color. I... think red is pretty too, unless it is red lasers, of course.
