[Dictated]
[A few of you might recognize this voice as that of a boy who has recently been present in the town, although he had claimed to have no memory of anywhere else. But today...
Today there is something very different about him. His voice is strained and distracted, as if nearly all of his focus was needed somewhere else.]
Please, can any doctors hear this? Or even someone who knows what to do about bad injuries, There is a man here who needs help, and I do not know what to do for him.
[Will had remembered what he was, but he could find it in himself to be happy about it in this moment. Not when the same event had lead to someone being so badly hurt.
And not in all the wisdom of the Old Ones had Will ever learned to heal. The best he could do was hold Duke Pantarei outside of time until help could arrive.]

Dictated
My name's Stuart, I'm an EMT, I can help. Where are you and what's the problem?
Dictated
[Will's response is absolutely calm and evenly spoken. As if he had decided that such things as panic or worry were of no use. And so had discarded them.]
Re: Dictated
[And Stuart's going to grab his coat, pausing over the Level 2+ Trauma Kit he came here with... this was a Category A call. He was probably going to need it.]
What was he stabbed with?
Re: Dictated
Re: Dictated
What the bloody hell was he doing with a sword?

[He'll be the judge of that.
Anyway, there's going to be one (1) Ambulance Technician, clad in the staple green uniform that has been circulating around the NHS in the UK since at least the 60s.
And meet one dude outside of time, one kid.]
Okay, that's new.

And its not like the funny sword was in his gut, okay? It was right up in his ribs, judging by where it sits on the ground.
Speaking of his ribs, now that he's back in-time, Duke brings his arm toward that side and does his best not to many any obvious noise of 'that hurts'. He's probably not successful. ]
no subject
No, no. Don't move. Bloody hell...
[Stuart's removing the Trauma Kit from his back, unzipping it, pulling gloves out of his belt, too.]

...Wait, what was that.]
Shit... collapsed lung, severe bloodloss... Damn. Stabbed it with the sword, probably.
[He rocks back on his hunkers, thinking for a second.]
He's going to need surgery for the lung, but I can stop the bleeding until we get to the clinic. It's a clean wound, some temporary stitches will stop the bleeding.

Is there anything I can do?
no subject
If he could focus, he could help this. But focusing was not a thing that was going to happen when breathing also wasn't happening right.
Thus Duke starts struggling with his coat. He can help a little, okay. ]
no subject
[Wait, what is Duke doing?]
Hey, hey! Stop moving. You're going to make it worse.
no subject
no subject
Yes, that doesn't feel any better at all. Duke drops his left hand, squeezing his eyes further shut. Fine. He'll just... Lay here and breathe, then. ]
no subject
Good, now stay still. I haven't got any anaesthetic, so the stitching may hurt a bit.

But Duke does his best to remain as limp as possible, just because tensing never helps. ]
no subject
[Stuart's going to fish the suture from the trauma kit to start working, grabbing the antiseptic, too.]
no subject

[And just going to start stitching.]

... that hurts. Duke gives a hissing pained noise, but he was told not to move so its just some hand twitching on another side and blank staring ... up.
Remind him to never need stitching while aware or not-numbed again. ]
no subject
Okay. Good. Now... The only problem is moving him.
