Dictated (accidentally)- closed for action, open for reaction - Three Right Through The Eye
[Katniss's journal falls open to her cursing under her breath in the brush of the forest. She had been travelling back to the castle from the shooting range. However, she'd heard a rabbit scuttling, pulled her bow and was lining up her shot... when a drunken cauterwauling began and the rabbit rushed off. Katniss nearly jumped a mile, dropping her pack and her journal.]
[Dirt slides across the page as she dusts it off, grumbling..]
God damned ... scaring all the game away ... going to pound his weasely face in ...
[She starts tromping through the brush where she sees the smoke rising, and hears Daryl singing just loud enough to scare away every animal in a mile radius. She's more mad about supper being on the wind than him being drunk, and then an evil smile creeps over her face as the words curl on the page from her muttering.]
See if he likes a taste of his own medicine.
[She keeps low in the bushes, keeping her rustling down to a minimum before she's about a foot outside of his camp. She starts to walk up behind him, slowly, hand reaching out to put a hand on his shoulder as he's staring into the fire -- when her journal rustles in the breeze.]
[Then Katniss lets out a choked noise of pain - as blood splatters across the page, and Daryl lets out a yell ...]
[...cut off by Katniss's yowling at him like a cat dipped in water.] YOU STUPID SONNOVABITCH! WHO DRINKS HOLDING A LOADED CROSSBOW!? Aaaagh this hurts! Medic! MEDIC!
[Somewhere behind her. Daryl is shouting back.] WHY THE HELL WERE YOU CRAWLIN' AROUND IN THE BUSHES, ANYWAYS! Wasn't my damned fault you're a damned ninja Walker! Why are you bleedin' so damned much?
[Katniss's breath was coming out in pained gasps, now.] Because you're a good shot, idiot! Oh ... that is a lot of blood ...

Dictated
Where are you right now?
Dictated
[Her voice sounds a little ... woozy.]
Well, right now I'm being walked to the castle so -- woods? Yes, there are trees...
Re: Dictated
Re: Dictated
[That's said in an almost boozy growl.]
I'll show you fishing for sympathy - you'll need it when I'm done with your ... your face. Which I'm going to hit.
Dictated
Okay. Just as long as you're getting medical treatment. That sounded bad.
Re: Dictated
[Hiccup, and then she's growling at Daryl, before she responds back to him.]
M'not fishing for sympathy. And m'not getting medical treatment from DARYL. He's DRUNK. [Aaaah, heh.] M'going to the castle.

Katniss, are you being helped? Where are you?
Re: Dictated
[The breath came out like happy prayer.]
In the woods. Daryl is bringing me to the castle.

Dictated a little late
Give me your status. Now.
Re: Dictated a little late
[Yes, there's a lag in her response, but she doesn't want her friend to freak out.]
Woozy, blood loss. Be okay, though.
