Salutations, mes amis!

Our last conversation was short, wasn't it? Hopefully today I will have more time to talk, and therefore more time for us all to converse at a leisurely pace. What a treat for us all!

If I may speak just for a moment with my fellow non-primate residents: Do you think you'd like to share more about yourselves with the rest of the castle?

And, so you humans aren't left out (I'd hate for anyone to be nursing some jealousy): Are you interested in learning about your fellow castlemates? Those of us who might have exotic experiences unique from yours?

I've been nursing a bit of an interest in the social politics of my home for a while - when I take a break from my busy personal life, that is. It can't be all business, all the time - there are too many flings to be had, too many opportunities to seize! Just because I was an early bloomer doesn't mean I won't milk my life for all the sensual bliss it's worth.

There are some organizations interested in harmony between primates and avians where I am from, and being invested in ad meliora myself, I thought there couldn't be any shame in adaptating such goals here in Paradisa as well.

It is a little different than all that mess! A lot different, in fact. [He laughs.] So many of us are already friends, I hope, that this would be less a measure of peacekeeping and more for mingling purposes. Cocktails and questions? Perhaps there'd be room for something more fruitful to bloom between some of our residents if we're all talking openly about ourselves and our flattering eccentricities.

Big or small, if somebirdie learns something or feels a bit more at home, I believe in my deepest of souls that this would be worth it! I'm sure there are even some things even I don't know about humans.

And having some sort of cultural informational exchange ... it might save us that embarrassing conversation faux pas, wouldn't it? Nobody likes sticking one's foot in their beak. I've been there! It's hard to keep cool when you're rosy with embarrassment.

I'm way more a shaker, not a mover, so I doubt I have the span of attention necessary to run anything like this with my hands alone. Maybe I'm full of hot-air with this birdbrained revelation. I'd like to say it came to me in a dream - 'I dreamed a dream of cultural inclusion!' - but really I've been thinking about this for a while.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear the sweet sounds of your feedback all.

Barring all that - I'm a physical man, myself! - we could just take it here to the journals.

That definitely sounds like it would be worthwhile. I hardly know anything about my castlemates, even those I see all the time in my tower!

Miss Yamada! I have a few thoughts, mon amie, so forgive my long-windedness.

Well, for instance, I know I took you by surprise the first time we met! I know you weren't expecting to meet a dove that day, but to me, I am so used to my own life that it's hard not to tell the whole long, complicated truth that I often forget full disclosure! Imagine having to introduce yourself as Miss Yamada the Human Girl at every meeting.

I think we're mostly friendly and willing to learn here, so even if we just - depending on the taste buds - whipped up some carnival food and grouped up to talk about our differences.

I really didn't get on with school, but this is an education I can really take some pleasure from!

... Or perhaps it's all a ploy to get us all some extra affection! Who knows what will blossom between two unsuspecting souls?

I can be positively bacchanalian if I so wish, but as long as we know when to put an end to our indulgences we can live rich and fulfilling lives!

Though putting on the grams right before the holidays isn't a good sign for any bird ...

True, so true! But we cannot meddle too much in the affairs of others, lest we look a little beaky! Or nosy, as it may be.

I hope one day of indulgence wouldn't send anyone into any benders.

At any rate, this sounds like a great idea. When were you thinking of having it?

At any rate, we'd want to give people plenty of time to organize their thoughts and wardrobes!

The Princess Luna even mentioned something about books, the compiling of which is such a task my non-scholarly mind can't even quite comprehend it!

I'd give it at least a month, don't you think?

Knowing Paradisa, it'd be just my luck that I'll set a date and we'll end up whisked away on some sexy and enchanting adventure, laying all the plans to waste! How dramatic.

... Ah, Princess Luna is a pony! Though she is also able to fly, uncannily enough! I believe by mythological standards that makes her a pegasus.

Huh. So she's equine royalty? Weird. Though I guess it's not so weird, here.

It depends entirely on where we end up, don't you think?

Not weird at all! But we do have to challenge our thoughts on what's out of the ordinary. If we're never daring, never challenge the status quo, everything stays the same!

I guess you're right about that. Nothing is "same old, same old" here, though. Were you surprised when you first woke up in Paradisa?

More than you'd guess!

I'd been in a bit of a bind before I ended up here ... whatever I expected to happen next, it certainly wasn't coming to in a castle!

Did you have any friends in your world? Maybe a special someone? <3

A special someone? Oh, no, I'm too young to settle down! Too many loves to live before all that. Or I've simple yet to find them! Maybe someone out there makes charming wild hearts a habit.

As for friends, well, I try to get to know a little bit about everybirdie! I've recently gotten on very well with the school janitor.

Sounds like you enjoy making friends. I only had one really close friend before I left. I wonder what she's doing now?

I'm sure your friend is safe and sound! Can you tell me a little about her?

Her name's Takeshita. She's an F-cup and has a boyfriend who's in college. But it's annoying! She never talks about him, or anything.

[The possibility that this is Yamada's fault for being nosy and perverted has never crossed her mind, nor will it.]

There's always the chance to get better acquainted later! Maybe once you go home, you can go on a double date with this young friend of hers and her fellow.

Not knowing your situation, I suppose there's the most miniscule of chances I could always be wrong, but I believe that kind of outing is just the opportunity you will all need.

I thought perhaps in a month or so, so that we would all have some ample time to prepare, spread the word ... come in from out of town. Decorate! Create an atmosphere of welcoming luxury!
