can't wait to get on the road again
Good evening, everyone ... I'll make this brief, I suppose.
I'm going to be heading out tomorrow, just for a short trip. Tardy and I are taking the TARDIS out to the edge of the Dead Zone, and from there I'm going to go wandering ... I did a bit of thinking on this last trip out, and it occured to me that I feel much more my old self when I'm outside the castle walls. As lovely as the masquerade ball was, it all drove the point quite keenly home, as well. So I think a bit more fresh air for me, and a little more wandering about.
I've still got to gather provisions, though, after all, so - you're not quit of me yet. Sometime in the early afternoon, I'd say. Hopefully, I'll be back before the cold settles in. It seems a perfect time to enjoy the weather... I always have loved the fall. The leaves remind me a bit of the sky on Gallifrey ...

As a postscript of sorts, I'll specifically be looking for Lente, as last I heard, she wasn't to home ... and I'll admit to being a bit worried. I know it's rather a wide world out there, and without any sort of advanced way to track her down, it's a needle in a haystack, but ... I do at least feel a need to try. She was both hospitable to us and helpful with the information she gave, and I at least owe her the courtesy of my care.

[and with that, Five will take to getting ready for his trip! since this is the Doctor, provisions can be found or needed pretty much anywhere, so run into him wherever you like: the kitchen, the laundry room, the music room, the clinic, the grounds...]
