Or maybe you are already there, having been invited. It's a picnic today, and there is food and drinks (and Emil didn't make them himself, be thankful), and people! People are great to have at picnics. ]

Of course. Transportation and even my very being require magic, Emil. Fortunately, rarely must I use the Sealed Verses.

Yes. Though knowing our companions, they'd be much too restless to simply submit to the castle's whims as well.

[Seriously, Nier would probably have to run errands every day just to keep himself busy, with no Shades around. And Yonah would...really enjoy being in a castle like a princess...]

For them, the lack of Shades here may come as a relief or frustrate them nevertheless.
