Does anyone know exactly how many different worlds there are that people have been pulled from?

Interesting - I've never heard that term before.

We have a loose group of mages interested in investigating the castle, though trying to get wizards to cooperate is a bit like herding cats - but Felix would be the one to talk to, as I think he's got the best-organized research so far.

I don't imagine any of it's terribly far, given the nature of the castle, but I'll try to get in contact with him.

It's base - even in my own world the are plenty of arguments over nomenclature and school titles.

At it's base, yes, if you count light and darkness among the elemental forces as well.
