[Spike clears his throat as he dictates into the journal. He sounds almost nervous. No. Not nervous. Worried. Because he knows what this place is like and he knows how easily things can Go Wrong thanks to people acting well...like Paradisans]

So uh. You guys might have started seeing someone you know who shouldn't be in the castle lately. It's not that person...probably. Unless they actually have just shown up, because I guess that's possible. And this place has crummy timing for things like that.

[Wait. He's getting off track]

Anyway, chances are it's Twilight. She's on a loss. There are these creatures in our world called Changelings. They can change into anypony they want to, and more importantly, they feed off of love. So she doesn't mean to hurt or upset you if she turns into somepony you really care about. She can't control it so please don't get mad at her or hurt her, okay?

Hopefully it won't last all that much longer.

[There's another pause, then a sigh]

It is, I mean the cahngelings tried to take over our country once, so they could feed from everypony's love. But Twilight...she's not really one. She just can't control it right now.
