[Thanks to Larry not knowing how to operate a stepladder correctly, Phoenix is currently laid up in bed, blue cast on his right leg, and an endless stream of whining ever at the ready.
He's also incredibly bored. Painting and drawing got old long ago, and he can't seem to stay focused on anything he tries to read. Never mind that he could probably pretty easily get out of bed and actually do something despite his (not very severely) broken leg...
He whines, over-dramatic, into the journal.]
Don't trust Larry Butz, everybody... he'll just break your bones and make you miserable...
...on a related note, come and sign my cast.
[With a bit of apprehension, he adds a filter.]
Um... Trucy? ...mind keeping your uh... old man... company for a little while?
[Good lord but he feels ridiculous even asking this of a teenager he's only just recently met.]

[hey, did you know ponies heal super fast?]

[And here he thought people usually shot horses for broken legs.
Best not mention that.]

Depending on the health and the age of the patient, a broken wing can be healed in a few days.

[Except he hates heights, but still.]

Still, are there no healers about to speed up the process?

[hmmm] I would offer, but thou wouldst be as much experiment as patient.
[but hey, all mammals are alike, right?]

[teasingly] I am perfectly capable of nullifying mine own spells, Phoenix Wright.

I shall see thee shortly.
[and soon enough, she clip-clops into the clinic with a smile of greeting]

Please don't disappear my leg or anything...

[there's a slight glow of her horn as her eyes drift out of focus. She spends a minute just examining, before the glow intensifies and then slowly dies down.]
Done. Thou shouldst heal in a week or two and nay, thou art not a pony.
The bones have already been set by - I would assume - some human more knowledgeable than I am in this particular field, so I merely used a healing spell to encourage the natural growth and repair of thy body.
[easy peasy one two threesy. She probably would've been extremely reluctant to mess around with bone setting though.]

Don't whip him, Luna]Th-thank you....
[He peers at his leg, still half expecting it to disappear or something.]
I, uh... I owe you one.

only if you quit being such a perfectly foalish foal about a little bit of magic. Sheesh.]Think naught of it.
[bit of a headtilt] How did this occur?

I have ne'er met this Larry Butz, but that doth not seem particularly logical. [i.e. she thinks he sounds like an idiot]
