Mbili [2] -- Dictated/Action
I have seen many things that I've never even imagined before in the nightmares we recently shared. Some far more disturbing than others. I cannot speak for the other people here, but to those I visited and knew previously: I will not hold what I experienced in the dreams against you.
[Katniss]
I apologize if this is unwelcome or belated, but I heard that you were injured fairly recently. Are you faring well?
[Action]
[For once, Mufasa's not outside as he usually is. He's on the sixth floor, lying next to the portrait of Ashura. For having just experienced the same thing everyone else had, the lion seems placid as usual, a neutral smile on his face as he listens to the journal dictate. Briefly, a large yawn escapes him, resulting in a gentle chuff before he resumes listening.
Approach the lion?]

I am not quite reading; I am listening as the journal dictates to me. I've still yet to learn how to read.

I see. Surprisingly, you are capable of speech as well.
[..........pot, meet kettle.]
no subject
As are you.
[since they're pointing out the obvious and all....]

[He's still a bit irked about being mistaken for a journal though.]
no subject
Hmm. There are many peculiar beings and happenstances here, that much is true.

[don't hate just because his metal fishmouth on his cover doesn't work]

[Well... when one didn't know what to do, might as well fall back on pleasantries. He nods.]
If I may-- I am Mufasa.
no subject
And I am Grimoire Weiss. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
[As pleasant as he could get talking to a lion, at least. He flutters his pages a bit when he finishes.]
no subject
[Oh-- uh, is his paws flopped all over the journals offensive? How is one supposed to be culturally sensitive to books?? Either way he'll just... close it and set it off to the side.]
no subject
Now then, did you learn speech, or is it an innate ability?

[And then he thinks of the Shades. Oh dear...not pleasant.]

My capability for speech may be due to my magic, at the very least.

no subject
Indeed. My very being is intertwined with powerful magic.

[Interesting...]

[Like Spike. And the ponies. Dear god, the ponies.]

[Sigh.]
There is much that different species could learn from each other.
[...Though he can think of some hard-headed humans who refuse to see the other side. Some hard-headed humans who see things in black and white.]

... I am not certain that books were intended to be part of the company, but I doubt that Yuuya would mind.
