[There's tapping on the pages of London's journal that can be heard, along with an almost weary sigh.]

Ok, I'm beginning to see what everyone means when they say the castle does weird stuff to you. Like making me sleep outside in the grass. Again. And this time I had weird nightmares, too!

Castles and me usually get along so well! Why doesn't this one seem to like me very much?


Jaaaaaade? The castle made me sleep forever like it did to you! Why does everything hate meeeeee?

None that I recall. It was a dreamless sleep.

Hm. The Castle seems to be causing it, but the rash of nightmares seems to be mostly over.

[Another pause. Jade's never been considered a very calming presence nor a very nice one. For the most part, he could see why, though given their interactions, he supposed they weren't in an environment where Jade felt the need to be more militaristic than normal, e.g. the battlefield. He chuckled at the last comment though, broken from the short reverie.]

I'm glad you think so. I don't intend to have any odd dealings with branches in the near future, so there shouldn't be any cause for worry.

[After all, if you weren't Luke, who nagged him all the time or Guy, who was a bit too smart for his own good, or other people who got into his business too fast, he wasn't hard to get along with. Also if you could manage his oddities and amuse him, it was far easier. To him, London was amusing and nonintrusive as of yet, that is She hadn't given him a reason to dislike her. No one really called him "nice" though.]
