[ It is dark, but Arya can see. Nymeria is unbothered by the night; her yellow eyes seem to glow. Falling instinctively back on her water dancing training, Arya slips quietly into her mother's room. Approaching the bed, she pokes Cat's arm. ]

[ Upon finding his room, Arya hammers on the door. If he is not in there, she will have Nymeria hunt him down. ]

[ Arya had waited until a day after she saw him again in the gardens. She stole down before he arrived and left a warm yellow jingle bell necklace tied to a scroll. The wax seal bears a direwolf. Inside, in Arya's quick, jagged hand, is a brief message.

Now you cannot lose your heart again.

Arya herself watches from the window so no one else can stumble upon it and take it. ]

Can-can you use magic to stop nightmares?

[ She is silent for a moment. Nightmares. The wound is still too fresh. ]

I may be able to spell something that will help keep them at bay.

lady morgana

[persequor]

Thank you. [ Her voice is quiet. ] How does it—?

arya stark

[scinlae]

All you will need to do is wear it or have it close to you. [ She is, of course, aiming to duplicate the magic her sister used on her bracelet for arya. ] You do not seem the sort of wear jewels, but if I got you a plain bracelet or a ring, would you keep it?

lady morgana

[persequor]

Yes. I've a bracelet. Can you use that?

[scinlae]

I can use that, yes.

[wilder]

[And sure enough, he comes down there for practice. What else is there to do when you don't feel like sleeping, after all?]

[He finds the note with the bell. The direwolf gives it away as something familiar and he picks up, before glancing around to see if he can find the giver. ]

[persequor]

[ Try up and you might. ]

[wilder]

[he does! He looks at the different windows and tilts his head a little when he sees Arya's window]

[persequor]

[ She ducks out of sight. When Nymeria barks, Arya shushes her. ]

[wilder]

[He smiles up at the tower, trying not to chuckle too much at such a cute reaction. He doesn't know if Catelyn is up there, so he's not gonna go up there, instead he'll simply call out]

Thank you, my little wolf.

[persequor]

[ She pops back up to hiss down: ] Shut up. You'll wake everyone.

[ She is also not red. Trick of the light. ]

[not_mafia]

[Uh.. okay, why was his door being pounded on? He stares at it hesitantly before coming over and opening the door a bit.]

... Arya?

[persequor]

[ Hi, Tsuna. You're getting sucker punched in the stomach. ]

[not_mafia]

Hrk!!

[He stumbles back a few steps before doubling over.]

Wh... what'd I do?

[persequor]

You know what!

[ Whirling on her heel, she stalks down the hall. ]

[not_mafia]

[Wincing, he slowly sits up, staring out his doorway.]

...I'm... not sure I do...

[persequor]

[ Figure it out, dude, or she'll rip your hair out next time. ]

[ladywinter]

[Catelyn wakes almost instantly. she doesn't sleep well at the best of times anymore; recent events have only made matters worse. She sits up and squints at Arya for a moment before replying.]

Arya. [And she scoots over in the bed, making room for her.]

[persequor]

[ Exactly what she wanted. Arya climbs in immediately, snuggling up to Cat. ]

[ladywinter]

[And Cat pulls the blankets up around them, settling in.]

More dreams?

[persequor]

[ She shakes her head. ]

Just the one.

[ladywinter]

That is enough. [She exhales deeply and moves to kiss the top of Arya's head.]

[persequor]

[ Arya twists a lock of her mother's hair around her finger before letting it go. Silent, she starts twisting it around again. Her eyes don't lift from her task as she finally gathers her courage to speak. ]

Mother? Do you… Would you…be happier if I wan't…if-if I was never born?
