[ It's been a long few days, to put it lightly.

Extremely lightly, for that matter. Genis had woken up in tears, curling up into himself, wishing so much that he had someone with him that very instant. But at the same time, wasn't it better that no one was around to see him so scared? He had hiccuped, sobbed, wiped his tears... and eventually, with shaking hands, he picked up the journal, starting to write in filters. ]

[ Lloyd ]

Hey... um... do you mind if I come over to the house for awhile?

I just... [ and he hiccups, pausing a bit before continuing. ] I want to hang out with you guys. Like old times.

[ Zelos ]

Uh... ... ... thanks.

I know it was just a nightmare, but... [ and he trails off, awkwardly, not even bothering to finish. He's not even sure where he stands with the redhead- at this rate, he might even start considering him an actual friend and that was kind of really scary. ]

[ Anyone met during the plot ]

[ By now, his voice is much more stable, although there's the barest hint of a quiver. ] We didn't really meet under the best circumstances, but hey. It's nice to meet you- I'm Genis.
[ Fellow Aselians ]

Uh... are you guys okay? [ He's not sure what to say, in response to such a terrible nightmare. ]

[ And after a little while, he adds the last filter. ]

[ Raine ]

Are you okay, Raine? [ Even though she was the mindless one, he was still worried for her. He hoped she wasn't guilty for what she had been doing... His voice was quivering again. ]

Can I come visit you?

You'd think I'd have figured that out after being told that's the likely thing to happen in that type of situation, wouldn't you? But no, I'm always hoping that it'll be true.

And I doubt he'd have ever approached you for this, Genis. But if he had, you'd probably have seen it as a trap better than me.

[She pauses as she thinks over his words.]

Normally, probably not. But this wasn't normal...

Maybe not. He was a really close friend to me... and from the time I came from... [ he pauses. ]

I might have really done it.

[ And he picks up a firm tone again. ]

Sheena. I know you wouldn't have done something like that. You might have been an assassin, but you're actually a really nice person when it comes down to it, so...

[ It's awkward- they don't know each other that well. But he's her friend- so he wants to help her. ]

[She's not actually surprised by what he said, having seen the way Mithos used Genis' longing to be accepted against him.

Just as he had tricked her in the dream.

She sighs.]

I know you're right, Genis. Up here I know you're right. [She's tapping her head.] It's just everywhere else that's having problems dealing with it.
