I'm afraid to say that someone dangerous from my world has arrived. Her name is Rhode and even though she looks like a little girl...she is a very powerful and deadly person.

Please be careful, all right? She's...interested in me, so it's fair to say she might take an interest in my friends too. If you run into her, don't try to fight her...she's far too powerful. Please simply do what you can to get away from her safely.

I'm sorry about all this...I'll do what I can to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone.

[Meanwhile if you want to talk to Allen in person, he can be found in the clinic- as he's been spending a lot of his days the past few months. He's hoping that today will prove to be less eventful than yesterday, what with House poisoning a pony and everything- but who knows. Mostly he just seems to be doing odd tasks that get delegated to the rookie. Feel free to bother him]

In my world, there's a war over the survival of humanity. The Millennium Earl has decided to destroy humanity and uses Akuma - weapons created from the souls of the deceased, to do this task.

Fighting against him are Exorcists, people who are capable of using a special substance called Innocence - which is the only thing that can properly destroy Akuma. Our power comes from light...some would even say that we're chosen by God. I don't really care if that's the truth or not. [He doesn't do this for God's sake after all]

Now if the Exorcist's power comes from light, Noahs' powers come from darkness. They are a clan of individuals who inherit the abilities and memories of the previous Noah - and if they are killed they can pass on their memories to the next generation. They side with the Earl in the war and are incredibly powerful in their own right.

[you'll get no "oh that's horrible" reaction from the Doctor - the sad truth is, it sounds like par for the course compared to so very many of the places he's been. it doesn't mean it's not regrettable, but ... people are people, and bound to war over one thing or another, no matter what dimension you're in.

So am I correct in guessing that Rhode has inherited her power from one of the older, more powerful lines of Noah? Perhaps even one of the first?

It would figure, wouldn't it. [he frowns] I don't suppose you've looked into any way of amplifying Innocence? Not internally, mind, but ... externally focusing its power through something else?

Sorry, it's just...the Order does experiments on Innocence, but...one wrong move could lead to destruction.

Well, whatever you'd feel comfortable sharing with me would be most appreciated ... I'm trying to learn as much about that sort of thing as I can, here, since straight technology is hardly our only resource.
