I'll just play it off. People seem pretty stuck on their nightmares, it'll work.

[Dictated, he's been hanging out back at the house more this week so this one is coming while he's chilling up on his bed from there]

Okay, so that whole thing was pretty weird. And disturbing, think I'm good forgetting a lot of your psyches if you don't mind.

But you know what's really weird now that I think about it?

It's the fact that like no one I saw had...really stupid nightmares. You know those kinds? Where it's all freaky when you're in it but you wake up and you're like - wow that was really lame. Like where was the ones where people turn out to be naked in public? Or attacks of fish throwing octopi or something?

I mean, come on, that's just weird. Everyone's had dreams like that. It's pretty disappointing too, I wouldn't have minded a naked dream so much...

Seriously, I think that's what keeps getting me stuck the most about all this. Am I the only one?

...Actually that was more a dream than a nightmare, but you get my point.

[PAUSE. He's worried about you] Were yours bad? I just...ended up in other peoples. I didn't have one of my own.

See, I knew others had stuff like that! And it could turn into a nightmare if started melting and you had to eat it all at once.

Mine? [a shrug, really doesn't want to talk about it] Nothing too much I haven't had before. How was visiting others for you?

...Why would that be a nightmare? [It would be delicious and future-Spike would have to deal with it]

If you're sure. [A pause, he doesn't really want to talk about his experiences, either] They weren't great.

Well, that much ice cream at once could give a stomachache. Or a headache.

Mmhmm. [It was true. He's been having nightmares for yeeears] Yeah? You okay?

But it's so worth it.

...I guess. I mean, nothing horrible happened, I didn't get hurt or anything. [Just, you know, learned the crushing reality he'll outlive pretty much everyone he loves ever]

...Right. Okay. Melting ice cream house is a good dream for you. Got it.

Just..scary and emotional stuff huh? [Yep. Welcome to the club there.]

Wouldn't it be for anypony? All that delicious ice cream. Hmmmmm.

[A sad sigh] You can say that again. At least it's all over now.

It is strange- and I also find it worrisome that nobody seems to have had any good dreams, either. Everyone who had one seems to have had a really bad nightmare.

Maybe it was a castle thing? I'm sure it's not like everyone in the castle has nothing but bad dreams.

i just know mine are typically closer to what we collectively experienced a few days ago

Ohhh, I get it.

For humans, it's a bit of a combination. Sometimes you get the serious dreams like those, other times you get goofy ones that don't make a lot of sense. A lot of times it'll even be a mix of both.
