Eleven Spoons {Dictation; Backdated to the morning of Oct. 13th}
[So the time of nightmares has passed, and while Jane has been somewhat active, it's not nearly as much as usual. She's had a lot on her mind, just like the other residents, and the only thing that's different is how she copes.
The sound of delicious sizzling comes from the journals, and it sounds so good that you can almost smell whatever's cooking. A spatula sharply raps on a pan.]
I've started to get the sense that the entire castle took a rather restless nap, not just myself, and perhaps it's a bit foolish, but I'm not sure I want to pin this on the castle itself so quickly. There has to be someone who knows exactly what happened to us. If you do know, I would really appreciate it if you didn't keep it a secret. It wasn't exactly...enjoyable.
But enough about that!
[There's a pause in the sizzling, and then it begins anew, as if something fresh has just been placed in the pan.]
I've been engrossed in cookbooks since I woke up, and I found a recipe for something warm and filling - comfort food, if you will. Basically, it's crepes with meat and seasonings in them, and if you would like some, I am sure one of the ghosts would be more than happy to bring you a plate. I've made plenty.
{Filtered to those whose dreams she stumbled into}
[Strangely enough, as soon as you hear this, there's a knock at your door, and when you open it, a plate of odd food waits for you, still warm. It's accompanied by a really happy cupcake and a note that reads as follows:]
I just wanted to let you know that I would be more than happy to listen if you need to talk about something.
You are my friend and I am happy to know you.
<:B - Jane
{Filtered to those who stumbled into her dream}
[And for you folks, she's quiet for a moment. I bet you never thought sizzling could be so tense. When she speaks, she's definitely more serious than before, and a little sad.]
I saw you. In my nightmare, I mean. And I just - I wanted to...
...No, it's foolish. Forget it.

It is quite a disturbing thought- that someone would knock us all out just to steal a few things.

So. Do all the trolls turn into tentacle monsters of death? Because Nepeta hangs around here sometimes and I'd like to be forewarned.
Once-ler
...I don't know. I highly doubt it.
Jane
...You okay?
Once-ler
Even if I'm not, I should be. In time.
...What about you?

If you wouldn't mind, a plate of them sent up to my room would be appreciated.

Goodness, of course! Who should I ask the ghosts to send it to?

[A few seconds' pause, then:] Please.

[There's some softer talking on the other side of the journal and then...a knock.]

Would you like some, Coraline?

[But hey, free food.]
But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

Miss Jane
Thank you for the food, mon amie.
Yuuya!!
...You're very welcome.
Is it - is it alright? The meat, I mean, I didn't know if you could eat it but I figured that I could always make you something more palatable if you wanted-
[She's going to keep babbling if you don't cut her off now.]
Miss Jane
It's fine.
Please, don't worry! It looks delicious.
Yuuya
Are you feeling alright today?

But when he gets to the journal and sees the filter, any thoughts about his own nightmare are pushed away.
When he speaks, his voice is gentle, and concerned.]
