[Arthur's been avoiding the journal, and this conversation long enough, he thinks. He still finds the use of the book distasteful, but the things he's seen in the past couple of days, all for simply venturing too close to the castle...

Well, there are more important things than quibbling over an item that is for the most part, utterly harmless. Still, he writes in it, rather than speaks]

When I first arrived, I was told this place was quite the danger. [A pause, but lets be honest he has the sensitivity of a brick wall, so!] While I think the past...several days were highly uncomfortable for everyone involved...That is hardly something I'd label dangerous, and thus requires no apology for my misfortune in having witnessed it.

[Like seriously, it's just a dream and he doesn't want to talk about feelings with....anyone. Ever]

But on the topic of danger, I would like to find someone interested in sparring, or the very least, interested in learning sword work.

Then you cannot have seen any real danger in your life, can you have? If a fabricated injury that never happened and never plagues you, is such an awful thing.

I haven't actually. My life, though horrifically depressing and full of regret, wasn't dangerous at all before I came here.

Paradisa likes making private things un-private. And dangerous as in emotionally scarring at times, life-or-death-y at others.

Anyway. How good of a teacher are you?

While that's an unfortunate occurrence, it's unlikely to actually kill anyone. I would naturally assume everyone would have enough sense to pretend as if they hadn't seen it, if the information was not given willingly.

It might be easier to put it down to 'can be' rather than 'is'. Not violently either, so I'm told. It just likes to strip your mind of it's own defences.

I suppose so. I find it very difficult to believe all that I am told, considering it is so often proven wrong.

Yes. One that I do not mind parting with, if you have serious need of it.

[ She's been dreading this, honestly she would have preferred if he never broached it and allowed her to remain locked away in her own world. But after the things he saw... well he is not the sort to leave that alone.

So after searching through papers she pens a reply: ]

[ Once that is done she moves to remove Merlin's nameplate, for the moment at least he will not know the room she has taken temporary residence within is not hers.

Merlin has no part in this (yet) and she has no desire to explain why she chose his room to reside in instead of her own. ]

[He doesn't wait for much more than that, to make his way towards her. It takes him longer than he'd like, being in the city, as he is, but soon enough she'll be getting a knock on the door.

One that he opens moments after and steps inside. He's armed, as he always is, but the sword is in the scabbard at his waist, and his arms are crossed over his chest, away from it, for now.

[Don't mind that he sounds doubtful, Allen. But the last time he saw you, you were off being rather short, stuffing your face stupidly, and looking kind of skinny.

That doesn't negate your ability to swing a sword around, he supposes. But he's out of your weight class for sure]
