[The Clinic had seemed a safe place before the incident...

Dhaos had been heading down to the visit Duke not so long ago. Nothing had seemed out of the ordinary that morning. Not until just inside the Clinic when he spotted a cat. It was a bit of a mangy looking animal, but would simply have passed for a stray if not for the almost human-like intelligence in its eyes and the hands where its front paws should have been.

'Poor soul,' he thought. It was probably considered strange by human and animal alike, and perhaps shunned by most. He had approached it slowly, taking care not to startle it.]

Hello there.

[Dhaos wasn't quite sure what happened next. All he knew was that the cat had suddenly launched itself at him, and the last thing he saw before hitting the floor was that pair of glowing yellow eyes. And now...?

...Now all he can do is scream inside his own head as he clutches at the blank expanse that used to be his face...]

This would be a focus moment where Duke knocks away that panic and slaps Levitation onto the man. ]

Should help. [ He's blind, other-doctor-person, he wouldn't be that much help with actually picking him up and walking-

Although after a moment of indecision, he pulls the screamer-in-minds off the ground for better floating. It cuts his weight, so it should be easier. ]

[The sudden feeling of weightlessness startles Dhaos out of his blind panic, kick-starting the analytical (and slightly paranoid) side of his brain that had saved his life many times before. What was happening? He recognizes the one who cast the spell on him as Duke, but who is this other person?

[Muraki raises a brow at Duke. He mostly just wanted help getting Duke off the floor. He probably could have carried the man, but this was more than helpful. Interesting.]
