First Story; Dictated;

Niklaus? [Her voice carries over the journal, she hasn't yet realized it's dictating her words.] Brother, are you here?

I was just talking to him, he couldn't have gotten that far yet. Elijah? Kol? Finn? [Nothing. None of her brothers are calling back to her.

Her voice becomes a little more desperate.]

Mother? Father?

I don't know where this is. I know you were worried about the wolves and were looking for an answer from the spirits to protect us but where are we?

Are you even here?

[It's then that she realizes the journal is writing down her words.]

What is this thing? Why is it writing everything I'm saying? What kind of witchcraft is --

[But her message is cut short as she shuts her journal closed quickly.

It's all a little too much for her to take in.

She can however, still be found wandering around the lobby of the Castle looking really out of place.]

[Neal is in the lobby with the doors open, working on a canvas. He's wearing a wifebeater and jeans and his upper arms are covered with speckles of paint, but he's not really paying attention to whoever else might be around, just focusing on the look of the landscape through the doors.

Which would also happen to be what he's painting.]

[She spots him across the lobby, near the doors. He's dressed strangely, and though she's seen someone paint before...the tools he used were completely alien looking to her.

Still, he's the first person she's seen, so she tries to calm her nerves as she makes her way towards him. If she wants answers, she'll have to talk to someone eventually anyways.]

Sir?

[turns at the sound of another voice, and gives her a smile. She's not quite as out of place as she thinks -- residents from the castle come from all over, and that's one of the things he actually loves about the place. Though, if she's new, that would explain why she's look at him like he has two heads.]

Hi. Do you need help?

Where am I? [She asks, glancing around the area once more, trying to ignore the way her heart thumps inside of her chest ferociously. She's never been outside her village like this before.

Father will be so angry with her.]

You're in a castle called Paradisa. It's probably not any land you've heard of.

[ Not terribly out of place in the motley (but uncommonly beautiful) residents of the castle, as much as Alice has seen, anyway. She is biting a jeweled hairpin between her lips and watching the girl. Staring isn't rude, of course. ]

Are you looking for directions?

[Her head whips around as she hears someone speak.]

Directions?

I just want to get back to my family. If you know the way -- please, help me.

[nihilo]

[ She opens her mouth as if to speak-- but doesn't, twirling that hairpin between her fingers and pacing slowly instead. ]

That's assuming I know your family.

I don't think you would. I don't recognize you. [And her village is small.]

I've never seen this place before.

[He's always around this area thanks to work and the view outside lending itself to his hobby. Steve hadn't quite made it outside for that just yet. It's doubtful he will when he comes across Rebekah. He can spot a confused new resident from a mile away at this point. Of course he'll go over to help.]

[She turns sharply as she hears a voice. She doesn't recognize this man -- he looks as alien to her as everything else does. And she's not used to talking to men outside of her family. Needless to say, she's a little nervous.]

Do you know how I can get back to my village? My family will be worried, we already lost my brother Henrik, they need me with them.

I can't say that I do. [Steve face falls. He hates having to explain the castle situation when this woman just lost her little brother. It's necessary though. He can't let her wander around without the right information when so much has gone wrong lately.]

If you're willing to bear with me, I want to ask you a few questions. I need a little more information before I explain this. What's going on here... it's hard to wrap your head around.

What kind of questions? [She cannot help be just a little suspicious. After all, this is all very strange and new to her. She is unsure how to navigate any of it.]

[Hope you don't mind seeing a lion come in from outside too much, Rebekah. Mufasa quickly sees that she seems to be a bit distressed.]

Is there something troubling you, miss?

[Holy shit a lion is talking to her!!! No seriously, she's going to be taking a few steps back now, completely frightened.]

How can you talk? What sort of magic is afoot here?

...But how else could that be possible? Animals can't speak.

[From her room in the castle, she picks up on this lovely interruption of her day. She's not pleased, but she is slightly amused to see that the castle does seem to at least give her one advantage. Rebekah seems a touch behind the times. That's good news in a terrible situation.

Oh, but she's not gonna talk to her. :| n o p e ]

[ Buffy was on her way to the town when she spotted Rebekah. She was just about to walk past her when she saw the look of fear and confusion in her eyes. ]

Either you're dressed a little early for Halloween or you just got here.
