042 - Chicken Bone

[It had been a long five months since Edward's been in Paradisa. Having taken time to learn the new layout and get back in touch with some friends, she's now ready to take on her next quest: to meet EVERYONE IN THE CASTLE! There were loooooots of new people, after all. So she's starting at the bottom and working her way up to all of the towers, knocking on each and every door. If there isn't an answer she opens the door and peeks inside with a mischievous grin to see what mysteries may lay within.]

Hello, hello, fellow visitors! Edward wants to meet yooouuuuu!!

I was knighted in service to King Soren of Embarr, in the world of Eldh... [Except said King sort of went crazy and he'd been following Grace around for a year and a half]...though the duty of any knight is to protect the people, no matter his loyalty.

A kniiiight. Edward's never met a real knight, before!

[She laughs as they climb the stairs. Oh, towers. Why so many stairs?]

[Ok, maybe a little out of breath now]

[Just a few more steps, Durge, you can make it! The nameplate stretches the entire width of the door. She opens it with a smile.]

Here we aaaa~aaare.

[It doesn't look like a typical young girl's room AT ALL. For one thing there's a bright red motor-scooter off to one side. The bed is littered with bits and bobs of whatever she'd been working on most recently. There are no chairs, her computer off to the side on the floor.]

[Liars sit in chairs...

Durge peeks in, the expression on his somber face mildly curious.]

You have some curious hobbies.

Edward likes to make things! [She dances over to a box and starts pulling things out. Eventually she finds a couple of unlabled bottles]

This is what the stinky gas is made out of!

[He steps in, careful not to step on anything in the process, and holds a hand out for the bottles]

Where did you learn to do all this?

Edward taught Edward. [She shrugs]

Edward was alone for a long time, so Edward figured out how to make things.

[He glances around at the spare parts and computers]

What is the rest of this?

All things Edward's making! [She points to her bed] Remote control car [to another pile off to the side] remote control helicopter. [points to another one] And that's a suuuuuuper secret project!

[Durge strokes his mustache]
