Thankfully, I seem to have found someone who can sew. Probably better than trusting anyone in this town, anyway. Their taste is clearly suspect.

One could argue that an illusion of this scale and depth is no different from reality itself.

A valid point, but not the one I'm trying to investigate. There is a very real difference between leaving us where we are, and actually dragging us all around like we're part of someone's deranged carnival. At least from a magical perspective.
