[Spike sounds very cheerful, after all, this is a nice world change and nothing horrible has happened to him yet. There's good food and it's warm, he has a lot to be happy about]

I don’t know about you guys, but that hot water place sounds pretty darn cool. Who else is going? And hey, did everypony else get a bodyguard? Because I did! His name's...uh.

[There's a pause and some mumbling here] Dude how many vowels are in that?

Okay so I can’t actually pronounce his name properly so I’m gonna call him Mike. Anyway! I hope to see you guys around this place later!

I sure hope so. And it was a lot of ponies who taught me, really.

I got a chance to talk to Twilight Sparkle. I haven't met her yet, though.

[huffythedragon]

You did? How do you like her?

[ninjainviolet]

Yeah, around that whole Halloween thing. She was looking for a way to color her mane.

She seemed nice; and kinda like she was afraid to insult people.

[huffythedragon]

[...] Nope. Not gonna ask.

She does that a lot. She didn't have any friends besides me before she came to Ponyville, so she's not very good at the social thing. She worries about what everypony thinks about her a lot.

What? That isn't something she normally does?

[Leave it to Sheena not to think it odd that a pony would want to color her mane.]

Ah. Well, I liked her. And she doesn't have to worry about me. I wasn't offended at all.

[huffythedragon]

Nope, she's never really into that. It's more Rarity;s kind of thing.

You did? Good! She really does need more friends.

Rarity? Another pony from home?

Yeah, I did. [She grows confused.] You mean she doesn't have that many?

[huffythedragon]

Uh huh. She's a fashion designer. [Happy sigh] And she's the prettiest pony in the whole of Equestria.

[Oh, how to ask this. Oh, she knows, thanks to someone.]

That's not something she says, is it? [And honestly, from the ponies she's met, she can't imagine one being like that.]

She knows she's pretty, but she doesn't say it herself all the time. That's just something I've noticed.

And you said she's a fashion designer? [She thinks for a moment, remembering.] There were a few of us wearing jackets and such. Is that what she designs?

[huffythedragon]

Yeah! She makes that sort of thing. Except...you know, for ponies.

Has she ever made anything for you?

[huffythedragon]

YEAH! She once made this really great bowtie. I got it from home for Christmas last year form the castle. It means a lot to me.

[ninjainviolet]

[She grins in return.]

You're going to have to show it to me sometime, Spike. I'd really like to see it.

[huffythedragon]

I sure will, it's really pretty. Encrusted with gemstones.

[ninjainviolet]

What kind of gems? [For some reason, the idea of Spike wearing something with stones on it doesn't seem wrong or silly to her.]

Oh wait. You said she's a fashion designer? Do they match the color of your eyes? [She's not teasing him with this.]

[huffythedragon]

All kinds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds. It looks delicious!

[He doesn't catch it] Not really, but its the thought that counts, right?

[The emeralds kind of would.]

That's what they tell me: It's the thought that counts.

[Does a double-take.]
