[Room Filter]
[Zelos was a master procrastinator. It was how he functioned. If there was a way to put off something, he would. Especially if it was something tough for him.]
[Unfortunately for him, procrastination was not on his side this time. He knew he only had a limited window to tell the truth to Seles in regards to Martel before someone else spilled the beans. And if that happened, well that'd be a giant mess that he'd rather not deal with. ]
[So after a week of procrastinating under the guise of letting Seles get settled into Paradisa, Zelos finally decides to make his move. Having already figured out where his sister is residing (thank you York and your upkeep of Castlenet for making Wilder stalker style so much easier), he decides to head straight there. Journals would give both of them too much room to back out and while she may not be a big fan of him, this was important]
[He arrives at the door at a time he would estimate that she'd be in there and awake, and knocks on her door twice. If the door is unlock, he'll probably try entering into the room- because hey. That's siblings for you]
Yo, Seles!

Yo, Seles!

B-- Zelos?! [She's... surprised. More than surprised, even if she's not realizing right now but she's heard from Martel herself that Zelos had information to tell her.]
What's the point in knocking if you're just going to let yourself in?!
no subject
So I could say I did knock?
no subject
Did you need something?
no subject
We need to talk, you got time right now?
no subject
[It's so short and to the point. But she doesn't know how else to approach this. Slowly she's realizing he must be here to talk about that Martel woman. It must be serious...]
no subject
[Oh good, now the awkward part. He shuts the door behind him and steps further into the room, putting a hand on his hip as he looks around the place. Finally, he'll look back at Seles]
So...you met Martel, right? That green hair woman?
no subject
[Just as something to add... But she doesn't say that she mentioned this. What he was about to say. She'll wait for that.]
What about her?
no subject
[There's a pause before he speaks]
Well, you know how I said Paradisa's all weird with the timelines? She's well...someone that lived four thousand years ago from our time.
In fact she's kinda the woman that the Goddess Martel's based off of. [a beat] And by kinda I mean...is.

[Somehow, even if she suspected things were strange, to hear this is so shocking that she just exclaims without thinking.]
Then... [She trails off, unable to properly voice her thoughts on the whole. Chosen system with this being known. So... what happens? What does it mean? And--] How is she... someone who lived four thousand years ago?
no subject
[He figured Seles would suspect something was up. The girl was smart, after all. ]
Well, this castle can bring back dead people.
[he rubs his neck a little]
Truth is...you know that whole story we've always heard about the Chosens and waking up the Goddess? Well...the reality's different from that.
no subject
What do you mean?
no subject
You know, maybe you should sit down or something first...
no subject
[Even saying so, she turns and sits on the edge of her bed and stares down at her lap, waiting.]
no subject
[He keeps standing, feeling a bit stronger at that. After a moment, he'll force himself to look at her. Might as well rip off the bandage now]
So...about four thousand years ago, there was a big war like the story said. It was against two countries, Tethe'alla and Sylvarant. War lasted so long and used so much of the mana that the Great Tree - yeah that thing's real- withered and died. And without the tree, the world was in peril.
But there were people out to stop the war and save the world. A small group of humans and half-elves. Among them was a half-elf woman by the name of Martel Yggdrasil, and her little brother Mithos. You know, like the hero?

I don't understand...
no subject
Because she never was a goddess.
Their little group? They got pretty far and stopped the war. But before they could save the tree, they were betrayed and Martel was killed.
Mithos, who had a lot of power by now, snapped. Instead of using the power he got to fix things, he took control of everything and set up the world order hellbent on resurrecting his sister. And he made up the story that Martel was a goddess so everyone would go along with it.

man maybe he should've followed Once's cake option]It's all fabricated.
no subject
How long have you known this? What does this mean for you?! If she's here, does that mean she's been revived? Or is it the same way we're from different spots in a timeline...
no subject
For...awhile? Some parts of it anyway, I only got the full story recently back home.
And it's sorta the same thing as the timeline? From what I understand, once she leaves she'll go back to being dead.
no subject
What does this mean for you, Zelos?
no subject
Well...nothing, really. That journey I mentioned earlier, that's what it was about. We stopped Mithos so there's no more need for the Chosen system.
